How long will I be without my bathroom?
Most REVIVE conversions take 3-7 days. We work efficiently and clean up daily, so you’re not living in a construction zone. For basic conversions, sometimes we can get you back to normal in just 2-3 days.
Do I need permits for a tub-to-shower conversion?
Usually no. Most tub-to-shower conversions don’t require permits because we’re not moving plumbing or electrical. If permits ARE needed (rare), we handle everything – you don’t have to take time off work to deal with the city.
Will removing my tub hurt my home's resale value?
Real estate agents tell us that safety and accessibility actually matter more to buyers than having multiple tubs. Plus, a beautifully done shower conversion often gets more “wows” than an old, dated tub.
Can you match my existing tile?
We’ll do our best to find a match or complement. Sometimes we can find the exact tile, sometimes we recommend a coordinating option that actually looks better than trying to force a perfect match.
What about my weird plumbing situation?
Every house is different, and we’ve seen it all. Old galvanized pipes, weird angles, surprise electrical – we’ll figure it out. Part of our consultation is identifying any potential issues upfront, so no surprises later.
How much mess will this make?
We protect your floors and other surfaces, use dust barriers, and clean up every day. You’ll have some disruption (it’s construction), but we’re not the contractors who leave your house looking like a tornado hit it.
Can I add grab bars and other safety features?
Absolutely. We can install ADA-compliant grab bars, built-in shower seats, hand-held shower heads, and non-slip surfaces. Many Orange County homeowners add these for aging-in-place or just peace of mind.
