The Blair style shaker doors with brushed satin nickel pulls add a touch of tradition, while the Vadara polished quartz countertops in ‘Phoenix Sky’ provide a sleek, modern feel. Contemporary Chic is a reinvention of a classic style with a sophisticated look that resonates a calm and comfortable atmosphere. This client in Irvine relied upon creativity and smart selection to construct a space that includes neutral tones and clean lines in their new chic bathroom renovations.

Primary Bathroom

Encapsulating a spa-like atmosphere, the decor in the Primary bathroom lends a calm and peaceful vibe. The frameless shower includes a heavy-duty glass shower enclosure with a through-the-glass tubular towel bar/ handle combo in satin brass. Adding depth and dimension to the shower are porcelain tiles stacked in a Chevron pattern resembling marble including a corner shelf. A large shower niche includes a metal mosaic backsplash in a gold gravity arrow pattern with satin gold Schluter trim. The shower floor is a naturally slip resistant gray stone pebble that also feels comfortable underfoot.

Adjacent the shower is a freestanding tub with a built-in overflow system and wall mounted tub spout in satin gold. Chevron patterned porcelain tiles surround the tub acting as a splashguard as well as make the room appear larger. Adding an elegant touch is a satin gold trim.

The dual vanity includes two undermount sinks with widespread faucets in satin gold. Full access Omega cabinets with modern flat panel doors provide a neutral tone in a Miso stain. Adding a look of glam is a polished quartz stone countertop in Sereno Gold including a 5” backsplash. A large lighted mirror sits above the vanity creating an illusion of a bigger space while the porcelain flooring lights up the room in a white cream satin finish.

Guest Bathroom

The guest bathroom also exudes a glamorous and sophisticated look including Omega full access cabinets in a bold Amalfi blue with brushed gold pulls. Topping the cabinetry is a polished quartz countertop in Sereno Gold including a 5” backsplash and 2 undermount sinks with gold widespread faucets. A large, illuminated mirror sits above making the space feel brighter and more open.

Large porcelain tiles stacked horizontally in Blanco white line the shower walls including a satin gold Schluter trim. Bone white hexagon mosaic tiles made of porcelain add a bright and fresh look to the floor. The shower niche makes a statement with a long hexagon mosaic backsplash made of natural pearls, accented with satin gold trim. Also included is a new shower head and glass double door sliding system with a towel bar in satin brass.

Mid-Century Inspired Bathroom Remodel in Monarch Beach

The Mid-Century style originated during the middle of the 20th century, when steel and compressed woods were all the rage. Characterized by clean lines and sleek, minimalistic designs, this modern look can add contemporary elegance as well as value to any home remodel. This Primary bathroom remodel in Monarch Beach characterizes minimal fuss along with sleek lines and geometric shapes.

A great element that can help to build your mid-century design is the cabinetry scheme. Encapsulating the Mid-century modern design are sleek, floating Omega Full Access cherry wood cabinets featuring straightforward polished nickel hardware. A double vanity with undermount sinks is set into a polished quartz countertop in “Sereno Gold” featuring wide spread faucets in polished nickel. The sink and vanity niche feature a backsplash tiled in stacked glazed ceramic tiles in “shoji white”. Three LED wall sconces put on an elegant display featuring a smooth aluminum rectangular backplate accenting an opal glass sphere. Adding a touch of modern luxury are two multifunctional lighted bathroom mirrors featuring make-up lighting, a demister to prevent the mirror from steaming up as well as a sound system. Two additional storage areas with matching cabinets were also included, one features a quartz countertop and stacked glazed ceramic tiles in “shoji white”.

Contrasting the stark angularity of the cabinets is a petite curved freestanding tub with a floor mounted tub filler and shower wand in polished nickel. A raised shower head in polished nickel features a sliding shower bar with a removable multifunction handheld shower wand. Adding dimension to the bathroom floors are Makoto, geometric tiles in “Shoji White”, completing the classic Mid-Century Modern look.

Handsome Home Office Remodel in Dana Point

A home office is a space you can customize and design to reflect your own personal character. Having the right home office space can also help you to stay inspired, organized, and focused. This home office remodel in Dana Point reflects one man’s desire to be able to admire his favorite collectables while comfortably working from home.

Creating a home office and environment for inspiration starts with a functional layout. To help keep things organized, we removed a closet and installed custom Omega Dynasty cabinets made from maple and birch melamine woods. Adding a timeless look to the Blair style shaker cabinets, we added a calming hue of blue Amalfi paint. To display his favorite collectables as well as keep them safe, we added clear glass doors to a section of the upper cabinets. Also adding style to his motif, we included multiple bookshelves to help display personality as well as functionality.

The addition of the ‘Highgate’ white quartz desktop provides a classic and trendy look while also brightening up the room. The large built-in workspace features brushed nickel mini puck lights illuminating an ample surface space below creating a perfect fit for personal time as well as work time. Optimized for organization, additional cabinets and drawers were included for effectively hiding clutter and storing important documents.

When combining elements from two different aesthetics, Transitional style unifies the best of both worlds. This refined guest bathroom remodel in Dana Point is sure to impress any visitor entering the home.

Reminiscent of the water along the Italian coastline, custom Amalfi blue Omega cabinets add that unquestionable touch of sophistication. Presenting a modern look to an enduring classic, the Renner style shaker cabinets offer a traditional twist with an ultramodern attitude. The polished “Absolute White” quartz countertops feature an ogee square edge with a chrome widespread faucet and square undermount sink. An elegant floor to ceiling accent wall and shampoo niche features a stylish combination of white and gray marble tile in a delicate floral pattern.

Even though the guest bathroom is on the smaller side, marble walls that can be seen through glass doors can give off a spa-like feel. Alongside the stylish accent wall lies a walk-in shower featuring a custom glass enclosure with glass-to-glass hinges and a through-the-glass chrome handle.
