Oceanview Oasis Newport Coast Bathroom Remodel

This Newport Coast bathroom remodel is a true at-home oasis with a spa-like feel and design elements that are in keeping with the nearby sea. Expansive windows provide plenty of natural light as well as views of the ocean in the distance, while the sandy tones of the room’s color palette give subtle reference to the beach.

Light colored walls blend beautifully with white quartz stone countertops and Forum Ivory porcelain tile floors, neatly contrasted by the dark wood of Omega Full Access cabinets in Pika Ultra Matte. 

The room itself feels expansive but cozy. Outside walls have plenty of windows that are responsible for bathing the area in natural light while opening up views to the ocean. Inside, a glass-walled walk-in shower takes center stage but its see-through walls keep the room feeling open and spacious. Within the porcelain-tiled shower, built-in shampoo and soap niches stand out beautifully thanks to marble hexagon accent tiles and a schluter metal edge trim in titanium bronze.

His and her vanities find their places at opposite ends of the room, contrary to the traditional arrangement of adjacent dual vanities with a single countertop. Instead, each has its own space, separate cabinetry, matching wall mirrors, and wall sconces that cast a soft glow. One end also includes a make-up corner, lit by nearby windows as well as LED style recessed can lighting. Tying it all together is porcelain tile flooring that continues into the sizable walk-in closet.

Primary and Guest Bathroom Remodel in Laguna Hills with Seaside Design

When you live near the ocean, why not bring some of the seaside vibe into your home? That’s exactly what the homeowners decided to do with this bathroom remodel in Laguna Hills. Part of a larger whole home remodel, this project included renovations to both the primary bathroom and a guest bathroom.

In the primary bathroom, a new dual vanity with double mirrors was installed. With lots of cabinets and drawers underneath, as well as an adjacent linen closet, this offers abundant space for storage as well as plenty of room for activities of daily living. Laguna Hills Whole Home Remodel with Seaside Design

This Laguna Hills whole home remodel shows off a beautiful seaside design. This project included giving these homeowners a new primary bathroom, guest bathroom, dog wash room, laundry room, and work-from-home office. 

Designed with a beach-inspired aesthetic, this home makeover also includes many custom spaces such as a dog wash room made specifically for giving the pets a wash without having to chase them into the guest bathroom, bending over, and going through hassle to clean the space up. This custom space provides these homeowners exactly what they needed to make their lives easier while giving their dogs their own shower space. Around the corner is also a home office room, where a murphy bed can be found, perfect for having guests over.

Adjacent to the guest room is the guest bathroom and laundry room. The laundry room includes semi-custom cabinetry that features space to store a laundry basket without making the room look cluttered. The guest bathroom remodel included installing new engineered quartz countertops with a sandy look to match the seaside theme. Above the vanity is a shiplap accent wall, that gives this space a charming touch. The shower is tiled with porcelain for that sleek design.

The layout was altered to provide a large walk-in shower area that now features a beautiful porcelain matte Ivory finish, a sleek curb, and custom shampoo niches for ample storage. The corner shower bench also includes material that complements the vanity countertop. Throughout, there is porcelain flooring in Matte Silver.

Elevated Design in Anaheim Hills Bathroom Remodel

In recent years, the remodeling industry has seen more of a shift in bathroom design from being purely functional to including both function and aesthetics.
