Polished nickel continues throughout the space — from the cabinet pulls to the light sconces with clear glass shades — tying the design together with cohesive metallic accents. The porcelain backsplash from the Exhale series in Cielo finish adds a soft, tranquil tone, while toe-kick lighting provides both ambiance and functionality. Completing the look, quartz countertops in polished Ironsbridge finish offer a durable and elegant surface.

A Soothing Soaking Experience

The former built-in Jacuzzi tub was replaced with a matte white freestanding soaking tub, positioned to take advantage of the room’s natural light. The floor-mounted tub filler in polished nickel and wood features an integrated hand shower wand, combining modern performance with refined style. The freestanding tub now serves as a sculptural centerpiece, perfect for soaking up the sunlight while you unwind.

Spa-Inspired Shower Design

The spacious walk-in shower showcases porcelain tile walls in the Brunei series with a polished Blanco finish. It is contrasted by a Pan American Stream Bone mosaic floor in a matte texture for slip resistance. A square multifunction showerhead, hand shower, and linear drain in polished nickel enhance the showering experience with both versatility and visual continuity.

Accessibility and comfort were also key priorities. The shower includes an Aging-In-Place grab bar and a fold-down teak seat with brushed nickel hinges, providing security without sacrificing design appeal. A three-shelf quartz niche, a window to bring in natural light as well as ADA assistance complete the thoughtful shower design.

Master Bathroom Oasis in Mission Viejo Remodel

At Sea Pointe Design & Remodel, every bathroom renovation is different. That’s because people are different, have different styles, and use their bathrooms in different ways. Some homeowners prefer a simple powder room with just the basics while others long for a luxurious, spa-like atmosphere in their own home.

This Mission Viejo bathroom remodel combines all of the above – luxurious materials, stylish design, and custom features that create an at-home oasis that’s aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Take one step inside the new walk in shower and you’ll see what we mean. The shower walls are lined with 12” x 24” tiles, contrasted beautifully by smaller geometric accent tiles with custom metal schluter trim. The pony wall contains a built-in shampoo niche, perfect for holding shower essentials, while a custom bench fits neatly in the corner and a rainfall fixture hangs above.

Outside the shower, style and function continue to work together to create a beautiful but usable oasis. The bathroom vanity is decked out with a two-tiered, white quartz countertop with a dark, bold vein design running through it. The cabinetry itself has plenty of storage options including drawers, cabinets, and open shelving. There’s also an open area under the countertop that provides enough space for a laundry basket while the above-counter area serves as a makeup corner.

Last, but not least, let’s talk about the floor. Beautiful Taupe-colored porcelain tiles cover the entire room while smaller, lighter colored accent tiles line the perimeter. All in all, this Mission Viejo bathroom remodel is a spa-like masterpiece!

Rustic Eclectic Master Suite Room Addition Remodel

If you need additional living space, but love where you live, you can often stay right where you are simply by choosing to add on to your current home. That’s exactly what these Mission Viejo homeowners did with this master suite addition.

The entire master suite addition measures approximately 400 square feet, but made ample space for a new master bedroom and master bathroom. Perhaps what makes this remodel so unique is its eclectic design, combining both modern and rustic features to create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere.

The master bathroom houses both a tub and a walk-in shower, each with their own unique features. The white garden tub has a beautiful accent wall of 3D stacked stone behind it. Floating wood shelves on this wall provide the perfect area to display decorations while the dark towel racks, hooks, and tub fixtures add to the rustic feel.

The walk-in shower is an eclectic masterpiece. Beige porcelain tiles line the walls and floor and are beautifully accented by a line of glass accent tiles. In addition, a built-in shower niche has three shelves to hold shampoo and other bathing necessities.

Across from the tub and shower is a single sink vanity, complete with its own design elements. It is topped by a beige colored countertop that’s boldly contrasted by the dark, distressed look of the vanity cabinets and wood trim around the wall mirror above it. Candle-like wall sconces on either side of the mirror contribute to the rustic design.

Exit the bathroom through a beautiful, rustic barn door and you step into the new master bedroom with complimenting features. Another barn door, this one with a large mirror, gives entrance to the sizable bedroom closet. At the foot of the bed, a fireplace surrounded by stacked stone with a wood mantle matches the design features of the bathroom’s tub accent wall. In addition, the beige hue of the porcelain flooring matches the tone of the master bathroom.
